BURIAL: A private family graveside service will follow at Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, IL. It was Susan’s wish to be cremated and cremation rites have been accorded.
Susan Jo Baud, 56, Olney, IL formerly of Stoy, IL passed away at 11:33 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN. Born on November 26, 1959, Susan was the daughter of Charles Harding and Sandra Jo (Shields) Harding. On July 30, 1977 she married James Dean “Jim” Baud and he survives.
Susan was a nurse’s aide at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL for several years. She later was employed at Victor Dana as a punch operator for 17 years. Susan attended Robinson schools and was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed going to flea markets, especially the Covered Bridge Festival; she was also a snowman hoarder, but most of all, Susan loved being a Grandma.
Susan is survived by her husband, Jim Baud of Olney, IL; her son and daughter-in-law James, Jr “Jim” and Anne Baud, Robinson, IL; her daughter and son-in-law Christy and Eric Drum, Stoy, IL; her mother, Sandra Jo Hicks, Olney, IL; four grandkids Brandon Morris, Terre Haute, IN, Sydney Drum, Stoy, IL, Chad Drum, Stoy, IL and Iva Baud, Robinson, IL; a brother and sister-in-law James and Cheryl Harding, Decatur, IL; a sister, Melissa Reed, Olney, IL; along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Susan in death were her dad Charles Harding; brother-in-law Jonathon Reed; grandparents Paul and Ruth Shields, Marion and Clarence Harding and her step father Leslie Hicks.
